CfJJ hosts two annual events. The work of CfJJ would not be possible without the support of our corporate sponsors:
CfJJ’s annual Leadership Celebration is a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception at the Boston Bar Association that focuses attention on important juvenile justice issues in Massachusetts and celebrates and connects the community of people who care about, work with, and advocate for at-risk children in the Commonwealth. The Celebration regularly draws more than 130 guests, including leaders of many of the agencies and organizations in the juvenile justice field. Sponsors receive complimentary tickets and recognition in the widely-distributed invitations to the Celebration, on CfJJ’s website, in the Celebration program, and at the event. CfJJ’s next Leadership Celebration is scheduled for November 29, 2012.

CfJJ on the Run is a 5K walk/run to raise community awareness of important juvenile justice issues. Broad outreach and family-friendly activities drew more than 120 participants, volunteers and supporters to the first CfJJ on the Run on October 16, 2011 at Jamaica Pond in Boston. It focused attention on the need to stop prosecuting kids in the adult criminal justice system and was one of sixteen events that took place across the country as part of National Youth Justice Awareness Month. The second CfJJ on the Run is scheduled for October 2012. Sponsors receive free registrations and are featured on outreach materials, CfJJ’s website, and at the run. Sponsors also have the opportunity to provide materials to race participants.

2011 Sponsors, thank you for your support of the first CfJJ on the Run 5K!
